Ray is originally from Brooklyn, New York. He graduated Lafayette High School and he
received his Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Theatre Arts from the State University
of New York at Stony Brook. While at Stony Brook, Ray also studied Political Science
and Psychology.
He originally moved to Las Vegas in August of 1977 after his father died. He unfortunately
left Las Vegas to go back to New York in 1981 so that he could help take care of his aging
mother. He came back to Las Vegas in September of 1995.
Over the years, Ray’s jobs involved working closely with people. He managed a General
Nutrition Center (GNC) from 1982 till 1984. He had his own limousine service from 1986
till 1990 and again from July of 1994 till August of 1995. He taught for 4 years (1990-1994)
in the New York School Systems.
When Ray was a teacher he taught 16 to 24 year olds how to read and write at the South Bronx
Job Corps and the Oneonta Job Corps through a federally funded 2 year educational program to
help inner city students. They were taught to get their GED and they learned specialized
skills so they could be placed in jobs when done.
He spent one year working for the Board of Education of the City of New York and the next 3
years actually working for the Job Corps managing companies. For two of those 4 years he was
the Scheduler and Assistant Administrator at the South Bronx Job Corps.

In 1993, while at a meeting in Washington D.C. (of all places) Ray met his wife of 14 years,
Karen. They had their first child in January of 1995. In September of 1995 Ray packed up
his family and moved them to Las Vegas for what he described as a better life.
Since Ray arrived back in Las Vegas he’s been working full time in the Casino Business. He
is currently working at Wynn Las Vegas as a Dual Rate Dealer/CSTL (Floor Supervisor). He
started at Wynn Las Vegas in April of 2005.
Ray is also successfully working part-time for a Mortgage and Financial Services company
that only has one foreclosure in the last 5 years. Ray specializes in teaching home owners
how to pay their mortgages off early. The company he works for prides itself on two major
values - Honesty and Integrity.
In October of 1997, Ray and his wife Karen had their second child and their third child
was born in March of 2002.
The names of their children are Rozzi, who is now 13 and goes to Cadwallder Middle School.
Sarah, who is 10 and Michael, who is 6. Both Sarah and Michael are being Home Schooled by Karen.
Ray made his decision to seek the Republican Nomination for United States Congress back in December
of 2007 after one of his friends suggested that he run. He didn’t become committed to that decision
until he went to the 2008 Clark County Convention as a delegate. He’s definitely up for the challenge.
Anybody that knows Ray knows that when he takes on a job he gets that job done. He’ll never let up
until he achieves his goal and wins.
All signs indicate that Ray is the best Republican Candidate for US Congress District 1. His knowledge
of the issues along with his sheer determination will get him elected. He is willing to do what it
takes to win your confidence and your vote. He knows that his actions will speak louder then his words.
His platform is a Family Values platform. He believes that there has to be changes to our government
made from the inside out. From the Congress to the Senate to the Presidency there has to be change.
Ray believes in what the Founding Fathers believed.
Ray states the following;
“The Founding Fathers believed that a representative government that is elected through
the democratic process by the general masses would ensure that those elected would work
toward the nation’s best interests. And if those elected did not act accordingly, the
people would use their power in the next election to make change and elect new representatives.
The current representative for District 1 in Nevada is not acting in our best interests
but instead has been drawn in to making decisions to please the party line. Now is the
time for positive change.
The only time that there has been true 100% non-partisanship in our government in the
last 50 years was after John F. Kennedy was assassinated and after 9/11. Both Democrats
and Republicans came together in the spirit of non-partisanship and Patriotism. They
worked seriously together for what was best for the people of this country and not what
was best for their parties. Whether you believe they made the right decisions or not,
they made those decisions together. Why do we have to wait for times of crisis for this
to happen?
My goal, when elected is to always represent the best interests of Nevadans in the spirit
of non-partisanship and work on the issues that effect us all. I will encourage my colleagues
on Capitol Hill to do the same for the futures of our children and our nation.”
Ray needs all the support he can get both physically and monetarily. There’s no doubt that he is the best
